My photography emerged from my movement and healing work. I began taking photos of people in my workshops because I was touched by moments of deep vulnerability, and I found value in capturing these to show others—to create a bridge of intimacy. I was also drawn to documenting somatic phenomena and the subtleties of the healing process, something that only someone attuned to these processes can track and hold space for while behind the camera.
My approach is similar to my therapeutic work: I direct and plan very little, and I value spontaneity. Once we find a location that feels right, once connection is established and nervous systems attune, a journey inward can begin—one in which things unfold organically, until light, shadow, and gesture come together. I see our time together as a dialogue — a practice of witnessing and being seen, where there can be space for revelation, discovery, and embodiment.
Beyond individual photo-shoots, I also offer sessions for couples and for groups, including retreats. I’m especially drawn to working within the creative and healing arts.
